Vice President Harris started her week marking the 31st ADA anniversary (Americans with Disabilities Act) alongside President Biden. Both officials made remarks at a Rose Garden ceremony on Monday, July 26.
Here you see them with artist Tyree Brown, a 26-year-old artist from Maryland. Injured in a car accident, the ADA makes it possible for Tyree’s mother to be her full-time aide.
Below (from L to R): artist Tyree Brown, Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), former congressman Tony Coelho, President Biden, Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD), the Vice President, and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
Ms. Brown volunteers with several advocacy organizations, including Disability Partnerships and Independence Now.
Vice President Harris wore her cream Prabal Gurung suit and silk top, her go-to Irene Neuwirth necklace and UFO mabé earrings, and the oft-seen Manolo Blahnik ‘Lisa’ 70mm pumps in neutral patent leather.
Tuesday, July 27, the Vice President delivered remarks to the National Bar Association’s annual convention as part of a roundtable discussion.
The organization is the nation’s oldest and largest national network of predominantly African-American attorneys and judges.
The topic was Diversity in Legislation: How Laws and Lawmakers Affect Black Communities.
Also, on Tuesday, the Vice President hosted Native community leaders and Secretary of the Interior, Deb Haaland, for a roundtable on voting rights.
More from this Native News Online story.
Vice President Kamala Harris and Interior Department Secretary Deb Haaland (Pueblo Laguna) met with four tribal representatives to discuss expanding access to voting for Native American communities.
Harris called Native voter suppression a “long standing and a recent issue.”
Long-standing because Native Americans weren’t universally given the right to vote until 1924. In Arizona and New Mexico, state legislatures barred Natives from voting until 1948 and “that was on paper, much less what happened in terms of practice,” Harris said in a recorded statement.
Vice President Harris wore the UFO grey suit that is proving to be a major identification challenge and a white top that I can’t see well enough to identify. Her jewelry was the same as that worn Monday, and it appeared she wore her Manolo Blahnik ‘Lisa’ 70mm pumps in black patent leather.
July 28th, Ms. Harris did not have any public engagements. On Thursday, the 29th, she was part of a virtual meeting with SBA Administrator Isabel Guzman and small business owners.
Ms. Harris was in a blue trouser suit that *may* be the design created for her by Prabal Gurung. I wasn’t able to see the details well enough to be sure this is the case. Her jewelry was the same as that worn on Monday, and it appeared she wore her Manolo Blahnik netral patent Lisa pumps again.
Friday, July 30, Vice President Harris and President Biden met with governors in states directly affected by the ongoing drought and wildfires.

Harris, who is from California, said she cares deeply about the issue and that her family has been under evacuation orders in the last couple of years.
“Our folks should not have to fear that they are going to lose their home, everything they have, much less risk their lives in these moments,” Harris said. She echoed Biden’s commitment to continue to stay in touch with the governors and that the administration would continue to provide assistance.
Ms. Harris wore her lavender double crepe suit by Prabal Gurung.
Her jewelry was the same as that worn throughout the week, and it appeared she had on the neutral patent ‘Lisa’ 70mm pumps shown above.
A quick note for future planning: Vice President Harries embarks on her next solo overseas trip in just a few weeks, traveling to Vietnam and Singapore. The trip starts on August 20 and wraps up almost a week later, on August 26.
