Month in Review: MARCH

March began with one of the year’s biggest events, the President’s State of the Union address.

The Vice President wore a custom ensemble by go-to designer Sergio Hudson.

The look included a round-neck dress topped by a single-breasted coat with notch lapels, one-button closure, and a row of 6 buttons at each cuff.

The coat has design elements seen in the label’s “sculpted blazer,” featuring Mr. Hudson’s curved seams and fabric panels. Below, a Sculpted Blazer as offered at Saks, with the center photo digitally lightened to better show the seams. (The Vice President’s coat did not have the wide peaked lapels seen in these images.)

Another view of the Vice President.

In this red version of the Sculpted Blazer, you can also see the fabric panels and seaming as well as the six buttons at the cuff.

Before the SOTU address, Ms. Harris spent time speaking with NATO leaders from Eastern European countries about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

For those calls she wore Dolce and Gabbana separates.

March the 2nd, Ms. Harris traveled to Durham, North Carolina with Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh.

They visited Durham Technical Community College and toured the William G. Ingram Center for Learning and Applied Technology, seeing demonstrations from students taking part in an electrical apprenticeship partnership.

The Vice President spoke directly to students during her remarks:

You are role models — each one of you — of the work that can happen…It’s about tapping into the big brains and skills of folks and to help develop it and to train those skills to do such important work. It’s about growing our country and strengthening our country. We all came to visit you so we can see it firsthand and then go out and talk to folks about it.

She met a young woman named Eleanor. “Eleanor told MVP that when she grows up, she wants to be a pediatrician, and then she told me today was one of the best days of her life!”

Vice President Harris wore her pinstripe suit by Dolce and Gabbana and an unidentified silvery-grey blouse.

On March 4 Ms. Harris met with Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Both stressed the “strength of US-Bahrain ties” when speaking with the media.

Vice President Harris was in her black Dolce and Gabbana separates and her Lafayette 148 New York ‘Perla’ top.

Sunday, the 6th, Vice President Harris, Second Gentleman, cabinet members, and other officials traveled to Selma, Alabama. They were there to mark Bloody Sunday, the day in 1965 when Congressman John Lewis and hundreds of voting rights advocates tried to cross the Edmund Pettus bridge. The marchers were brutally attacked and tear-gassed by Alabama State Troopers.

More from this Atlanta Voice story.

The nation’s first female vice president — as well as the first African American and Indian American in the role — spoke of marchers whose “peaceful protest was met with crushing violence. They were kneeling when the state troopers charged. They were praying when the billy clubs struck.”

On “Bloody Sunday,” March 7, 1965, state troopers beat and tear-gassed peaceful demonstrators, including young activist John Lewis, who later became a longtime Georgia congressman. The images of violence at the Edmund Pettus Bridge — originally named for a Confederate general — shocked the nation and helped galvanize support for passage of the Voting Rights Act.

The scene on the bridge this year.

In a social media post, the Vice President said, “Today, I stand with civil rights and community leaders on the Edmund Pettus Bridge. Those who marched across this bridge 57 years ago marched for our freedom to vote. If we all continue to work together, to fight together, we will secure our rights.”

She delivered remarks in Selma:

“I stand on the shoulders of giants, who risked everything for our freedoms. The baton has been passed to us to continue the fight to protect our right to vote. Those who marched in Selma, marched for the freedom to vote and all the rights and freedoms that voting unlocks: economic justice, social justice, racial justice. We must do the same.”

Additional thoughts on the day’s significance and the Vice President’s role from this piece by Errin Haines in The 19th.

I was struck that she was speaking to a crowd that included the foot soldiers who were beaten and bloodied in that same spot, establishment members of the movement and younger activists who are new to the fight. Harris herself was a bridge in that moment, connecting the need to be vigilant about protecting democracy for people who are literally worlds apart.

For the day’s events, Ms. Harris wore designs by Michael Kors Collection. Her blazer looks like the Stretch Pebble Crepe Blazer ($567, originally $1890) in a color called ‘wheat.’ The jacket is made of virgin wool with a touch of polyamide and elastane. The single-breasted design features notched lapels, padded shoulders, flap pockets, and single button front closure. I believe the dress worn by Ms. Harris is the Double-Face Stretch Wool Dress (no longer available in this color) seen below. Done in a classic fit and flare silhouette, the sleeveless style incorporates multiple fabric panels, contoured seaming, and a round neck.

Monday, the 7th, the Vice President announced federal actions that “will expand clean public transit and school buses, reduce emissions from dirty diesel trucks, and create good-paying jobs,” per a White House briefing paper. Also taking part in the announcement, EPA Administrator Michael Regan and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

Vice President Harris was in an unidentified checked jacket and trousers she has worn previously.

On March 9 the Vice President traveled to Poland.

— Ambasador Mark Brzezinski (@USAmbPoland) March 9, 2022

She met with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki for discussions on the situation in Ukraine.

She also met with President Andrzej Duda.

The two leaders held a joint news conference.

The Vice President said, “We stand with the people of Ukraine, we admire their courage, and we are aligned in our support of their sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

She spent time with representatives of the Ukraine refugee community and also announced an additional $50 million in humanitarian assistance to be distributed through US Aid.

Ms. Harris also met with US and Polish service members in Warsaw.

The next day, March 11, the Vice President was in Bucharest for meetings with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis. Below, the two during a welcome ceremony at Cotroceni Palace.

The Vice President said they both “reaffirmed that the United States and Romania, along with our allies and partners, stand together in opposing Russian aggression in Ukraine.”

Another view.

Ms. Harris delivered remarks to the Democratic National Committee’s winter meeting on Saturday, the 12th.

The Vice President wore her Tom Ford suit seen several times in the last few years. The pieces are done in a classic Prince of Wales check, with a fitted blazer and straight cut on the pants (unlike those seen below).

On March 15 Vice President Harris took part in White House Equal Pay Day events. Below, watching President Biden sign an executive order that “encourages — but does not order — the government to consider banning federal contractors from seeking information about job applicants’ prior salary history, ” per this PBS report.

Also on the 15th, an Equal Pay Day discussion with current and former US Women’s Soccer players, Kelley O’Hara, Margaret Purce, Briana Scurry, Julie Foudy, and Cindy Parlow Cone. Also taking part virtually were Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan. Ms. Harris noted that “women are paid less than men in America. On average, women working full time, make just 83 cents for every dollar made by a man. For many women of color, the gap is even wider.”

We return to the PBS story.

….players from the U.S. women’s soccer team…. recently won a $24 million settlement with U.S. Soccer in a discrimination dispute.

The settlement includes a commitment to equalize pay and bonuses to match the men’s team.

The Vice President wore an unidentified dark grey suit with a black blouse. In this photo released on March 16th, but shot on the 15th, you have a better view of the jacket.

On March 16 Vice President Harris delivered remarks about a new initiative from the administration, Project SERV.

More background comes from this Murjani Rawls story in The Root.

Historically Black colleges and universities around the United States have been operating under a continuous cycle of hate. Since January of 2022, 36 HBCUs have been targets of bomb threats. On the first day of Black History Month alone, 18 HBCUs had to suspend operations and go on lockdown. Thankfully, there were no devices found, but this is a coordinated attack on the psyche of Black students.

The program provides short-term immediate funding for local educational agencies (LEAs) and institutions of higher education (IHEs) that have experienced a violent or traumatic incident to assist in restoring a safe environment conducive to learning.

Thursday, March 17, the Vice President administered a swearing-in ceremony with Shalanda Young, the first Black woman to lead the White House budget office. In this photo, you also see Ms. Young’s father, Ronald Smith (2nd from right), and I believe that is Ms. Young’s husband with their daughter, Charlie.

Vice President Harris wore her black Dolce and Gabbana separates and an Akris top we’ve not seen for some time. Below, the Akris Punto Yucca & Agave Stripe Wool Ribbed T-Shirt (sold out).

The Vice President traveled to Louisiana on the 21st. She was there to talk about a $30 million grant to boost broadband access. Below, during a visit to a community library in Sunset, LA.

The funding will be used to connect more than 20,000 households and 3,000 small businesses. The Vice President noted in a social media post, “When we have students sitting in cars in fast-food parking lots doing their homework over public Wi-Fi, and seniors seeing doctors online in local public libraries—we have a problem. Our $65 billion investment in high-speed internet will impact millions.”

The Vice President wore her Altuzarra Kenton Jacket and Serge Pants.

On March 25 the Vice president addressed members of the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators during a meeting in her Ceremonial Office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

Vice President Harris was in the khaki-olive suit believed to be by Dolce and Gabbana and a black top.

Tuesday, March 29 Vice President Harris took part in the White House ceremony for the signing of the landmark Emmett Till Anti-lynching Act.

To the right of the President (soft green coat), you see Michelle Duster, great-granddaughter of pioneering investigative journalist Ida B. Wells. Ms. Wells led an anti-lynching movement in the 1890s. More from FreeSpeech.org, “Michelle Duster…said at Tuesday’s bill signing, ‘Finally, in 2022, we have justice. We have laws that were fought for so long ago,’ says Duster, who thinks the law is ‘better late than never.'”

Below, the Vice President with (left to right) Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA), Senator Ralph Warnock (D-GA), and Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ). The Vice President, Sen Booker, and Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) co-sponsored the original legislation.

Also on the 29th, the Vice President met with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

She wore her black Dolce and Gabbana separates again and the UFO chocolate brown blouse first seen in February of this year.

Vice President Harris wrapped up the month on the 30th with a meeting and news conference with Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness.

Week in Review Dec 6 – 10

Monday, December 6, Vice President Harris met with a group of Black women leaders to talk about progress on the Build Back Better Act.

Official White House notes on the meeting say the group talked about “…progress on the Build Back Better Act, the Administration’s efforts to amplify and implement the Bipartisan Infrastructure law, and voting rights.” This was a follow-up meeting to a July gathering when the group met to talk about voting rights (photo below).

The Vice President wore her Dolce and Gabbana pinstripe jacket and trousers with a black top.

Tuesday, the 7th, marked the White House’s first-ever Maternal Health Day of Action. Attendees at the event included maternal care professionals, mothers, advocates, celebrities, and elected officials.

More from Mariel Padilla’s story for The 19th.

Vice President Kamala Harris issued a nationwide call to action for private and public sectors to improve health outcomes for pregnant people in the United States, where pregnancy-related deaths occur at a higher rate than in other countries with similar incomes.

“This challenge is urgent and it is important and it will take all of us,” Harris said. “ And to put it simply, here’s how I feel about this: In the United States of America, in the 21st century, being pregnant and giving birth should not carry such great risk. But the truth — and this is a hard truth — women in our nation are dying before, during and after childbirth.”

We return to The 19th story.

Harris also pointed out stark racial disparities. “When we know that for some women, the risk is much higher,” Harris said. “We should do something about it.”

Black women, like Brown’s daughter, are three times as likely to die from pregnancy-related complications as their White counterparts. Native American women are more than twice as likely to die, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And women who live in rural areas — where pregnancy care is often difficult to come by — are about 60 percent more likely to die.

Below, the Vice President with Olympic medalist Allyson Felix. Ms. Felix is one of several women responsible for Nike’s expansion of its maternity policy.

And from The Grio’s story by Nii-Quartelai Quartey:

Vice President Harris made clear that the White House is taking unprecedented action when she highlighted $3 billion in new maternal health investments proposed in the yet to passed Build Back Better Act, in addition to new commitments to support safe pregnancies and childbirth, and reduce complications and mortality in the year following birth.  he Vixce President

The Vice President wore her Dolce and Gabbana ‘microcheck’ jacket and trousers with a black top.

Wednesday, December 8, the Vice President was on Capitol Hill, where she cast her 15th Senate tie-breaking vote.

The vote confirmed Massachusetts District Attorney Rachael Rollins as the next US Attorney for Massachusetts. Ms. Rollins is the first Black woman to hold the position. Ms. Harris wore what looked the olive/khaki suit that I believe is a Dolce and Gabbana design with a black turtleneck.

Thursday, December 9, Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff joined President Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden at a Capitol service for former Senator Bob Dole.

The former Republican Senator from Kansas, a WWII veteran, died at the age of 98 on December 5. Below, the Vice President’s statement.

Another view.

Vice President Harris wore her Dolce and Gabbana black blazer and pants atop a Dolce and Gabbana knit shell with a lace insert.

Friday, December 10, the Vice President conducted a swearing-in ceremony for former Senator Jeff Flake, now the US Ambassador to Turkey. I believe that is the Senator’s wife, Cheryl, seen in the photo below.

Ambassador Flake served as one of Arizona’s senators from 2013 – 2019.

Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff joined President Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden at the National Cathedral for former Senator Dole’s funeral. It appeared the Vice President wore an Akris V-Neck dress with her ‘Pietro’ jacket by Akris Punto.

Later that day the Vice President changed into trousers and a jacket for an event with Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff at their Naval Observatory home.

The couple invited children from local schools to make ornaments.

The Vice President said in a social media post, “The last two years have been incredibly difficult for kids and so many didn’t get to celebrate the holidays last year. @SecondGentleman and I invited kids from across Washington, D.C. to come to our home to make ornaments and celebrate the holiday season.”

Ms. Harris looked like she was in her black Dolce and Gabbana suit with the UFO red blouse we saw for the National Christmas Tree lighting earlier this month.

Throughout the week, Vice President Harris wore her Tahitian pearl necklace and stud earrings.

Weeks in Review Oct 25 – 29 and Nov 1 – 5

Vice President Harris started the week of October 25th with a familiar look, wearing a longtime UFO suit for a meeting with national environmental and climate organization leaders.

The suit dates back many years, and we continue to search for an ID.

Thursday, October 28, the Vice President joined President Biden as he delivered remarks about the administration’s Build Back Better agenda and legislation.

Here you see the duo shortly after the President’s speech.

Ms. Harris also met virtually with mayors of several US cities on Thursday.

It looked like the Vice President was in her Dolce & Gabbana Turlington Blazer ($2595) and coordinating trousers, shown below when worn on a previous occasion.

Friday, the 29th, the Vice President took part in a Democratic National Committe event on the Build Back Better legislation. That evening she spoke at a rally for Terry McAuliffe, running to regain the Virginia Governor’s office.

The Vice President appeared to be wearing her Micro Check Print Blazer ($1437, originally $2395) and Straight Leg Houndstooth Trousers ($525, originally $875) by Dolce and Gabbana that we first noted back in January of this year.

Beneath the jacket, she had on a black turtleneck. Ms. Harris also wore her Manolo Blahnik Dildi boots, seen below when worn last winter.

Saturday, October 30, Vice President Harris received her COVID vaccination booster shot.

She was in pieces she has worn previously.

Ms. Harris wore her Yucca & Agave Stripe Wool Ribbed T-Shirt ($495, now sold out) by Akris Punto (below), and her oft-seen Fenice Jacket ($1495) and coordinating Serge Pant ($695) by Altuzarra.

Vice President Harris traveled to New York City on Monday with Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm. They received a briefing on NYC’s fleet of Zero-Emission SuperTrucks and the city’s investments in commercial electric vehicles.

More about the visit from UPI’s story:

Vice President Kamala Harris joined Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm in New York on Monday to announce nearly $200 million for projects to produce cleaner cars and trucks.

The pair appeared at JFK Airport to announce the commitment to fund 25 projects, including long-haul trucks powered by batteries and fuel cells and improving electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the United States.

Harris added the government will also partner with private companies to “drive innovation in electric heat pumps.”

Below you see Secretary Granholm and the Vice President; on the right, Civilian Climate Corps Member Joshua Krupa and BlocPower CEO Donnel Baird. BlocPower is a Brooklyn-based energy technology startup working to make buildings more energy-efficient.

Another view of Secretary Granholm and Vice President Harris.

And here you see the Vice President posing for a photo with staffers on the advance team for the NYC trip.

The Vice President was in an unidentified black suit she has worn for several years and a dark green top that is also UFO (Unidentified Fashion Object).

Friday night the Vice President was in a dress by Sergio Hudson for the National Action Network’s 30th-anniversary celebration at Carnegie Hall.

The event also marked Reverend Al Sharpton’s 67th birthday; the Reverend is the founder of the National Action Network. More about the event via Rachel Pilgrim’s story for The Root.

Vice President Harris delivered the keynote address to a room that included NAN honorees, state and local officials and families representing several victims of police brutality. Outside of talking about what’s next for the Biden-Harris administration’s agenda, such as the Build Back Better Framework, Harris focused on an issue that will be looming over voting polls today: voting rights.

The Vice President was in the Signature Dress ($1295), part of the Sergio Hudson Signature Essentials collection. It is crafted from a stretch crepe made of a triacetate/polyester blend and lined with stretch silk. The pencil-style piece showcases a structured design in a midi length. It features a round neck, concealed back zipper, and hidden zippers at the sleeve.

Here is a closer look at some of the details.

The Vice President accessorized with her Manolo Blahnik BB105 pumps in black patent ($665).

On Wednesday, November 3, the Vice President traveled to Capitol Hill for another procedural vote on the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.

The Vice President also had office meetings. Below, with Todd Gloria, Mayor of San Diego.

Ms. Harris wore an unidentified dark grey suit and a blouse that looks like a design by Lafayette 148 New York, the brand’s Cecile Tie-Neck Blouse ($498).

Friday, the 5th, Ms. Harris visited NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. The center is in Maryland, just a few miles north of Washington, DC.

According to a NASA news release, “the vice president met with scientists and engineers to discuss how NASA’s broad portfolio of Earth science missions helps address the climate challenges facing our world.”

She also operated a robotic arm in the Center’s Robotics Operations Center.

Vice President Harris was in separates by Altuzarra, the brand’s Kenton Jacket & what looked like the Serge Pants ($795).  Beneath the jacket, she appeared to have on her Charmeuse Reversible Perla Blouse ($328) by Lafayette 148 New York.

On Saturday, November 6, the Vice President joined the President as he delivered remarks on the passage of the administration’s infrastructure bill.

Vice President Harris was in the khaki/olive suit we first noted back in October. Below, another view from today.

The suit looks like several Dolce and Gabbana styles worn by Ms. Harris and has many of the elements seen in those designs: a jacket with peaked lapels, three flap pockets, and double back vents with a tailored straight leg trouser.

Throughout both weeks, Ms. Harris wore her Tahitian pearl necklace and stud earrings.

Monday, the 8th, Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Harris travel to Paris, France, where they will be until Saturday, the 13th. The Vice President “will pursue US efforts to strengthen a recently mended French-American relationship… she will also attend a pair of international conferences” per this CNN piece.

Week in Review April 19 – 23

Vice President Harris started the week with a trip to North Carolina, visiting Greensboro and High Point. She spoke about the administration’s infrastructure proposal at Guilford Technical Community College.

In High Point she toured Thomas Built Buses.

Another view.

The Vice President also made an unannounced stop at the International Civil Rights Center & Museum in Greensboro.

More from Andrea Blackstone’s story for Black Enterprise.

The museum commemorates the historic action of February 1, 1960, when A&T State University students David Richmond, Franklin McCain, Ezell Blair Jr. (now Jibreel Khazan), and Joseph McNeil—aka “The Greensboro Four”— sat at the all-White lunch counter at F.W. Woolworth’s five-and-dime. The non-violent action “challenged America to make good on its promises of equality and civic inclusion enunciated in the Constitution,” according to the museum’s website.

The museum now sits on the site of that famed Woolworths.

And from this WFMY story by Jalen Gilkey:

I spoke with museum co-founder Skip Alston about what it meant to play host to Vice President Harris.

“It was a very surreal moment to be able to have the first African-American woman vice president of the United States of America. The second most influential and most powerful person in the world sitting at the lunch counter.”

The view from the Vice President’s perspective.

Ms. Harris viewed other exhibits at the museum.

For the day’s events, it looked like Ms. Harris wore her Sergio Hudson suit.

The suit is single-breasted with notch lapels, angled flap pockets, and a one-button closure. The trousers have a tapered leg. Beneath the jacket, I think the Vice President may have been wearing the Cory Tee ($85) by one of her go-to brands, L’Agence.

The all-cotton tee has a scoop neck, short sleeves, and a slim fit. It is made in the USA of imported materials. The Cory is offered in a broad selection of colors at L’Agence and in basic colors at Saks, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdale’s.

On Tuesday, April 20, the Vice President and President met with members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

The President and Vice President both spoke about the verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial and urged Congress to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.

Embed from Getty Images

A transcript of the Vice President’s remarks may be seen here. Ms. Harris may have worn her Altuzarra Fenice jacket and coordinating trousers. Beneath the jacket she had on a maroon top that is not yet identified.

Wednesday, April 21, Ms. Harris attended a service for Congressman Alcee Hastings, who died in early April. The 84-year-old Democrat had represented his South Florida district since 1992.

Embed from Getty Images

She also was part of a presentation marking the administration of 200 million vaccines.

It looks like the Vice President brought back a piece from Akris Punto she has worn several times.

The Zip Front Dress features a sheath silhouette with topstitched princess seams, waist darts, a front half-zip with metal pull tab, an invisible back zipper, and cap sleeves.

The current version of the dress ($995) is made in a viscose/polyimide/elastane blend. More photos and info on the piece may be seen here.

Thursday, the 22nd, the Vice President delivered remarks at a virtual summit on climate change.

She also took part in an immigration roundtable.

Ms. Harris was in a grey suit that remains unidentified and a white tie-neck blouse she has worn on several occasions.

The Vice President wrapped up her week on Friday, April 23, with a trip to New Hampshire. Below, Ms. Harris arriving in Gilford, NH.

Ms. Harris delivered remarks at the New Hampshire Electric Co-Op, a non-profit entity that delivers broadband service in addition to electricity.

She also stopped at Gibson’s Bookstore and Cafe, an independent bookstore in Concord.

The Vice President did a little shopping at the bookstore.

She purchased Of Women and Salt by Gabriela Garcia and The Complete Mediterranean Cookbook from America’s Test Kitchen, per Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh.

It looks like the Vice President was in separates by Altuzarra, the label’s Fenice Jacket ($1495), and coordinating Serge Pant ($695).

Beneath the blazer I think the Vice President wore the Featherweight Cashmere Sweater ($590).

The ribbed crewneck sweater is crafted of lightweight cashmere and is from the more upscale Michael Kors Collection line. The piece was first noted when Ms. Harris visited New Haven, Connecticut, in late March.

Vice President wore her Irene Neuwirth double strand of pearls every day this week, as well as her mabé pearl earrings. It looks like she was in her Newcio Pumps ($665) by Manolo Blahnik, shown below as worn on another occasion.

Week in Review Feb 22 – 27

The week started on a somber note as President Biden led a ceremony marking the 500,000 US lives lost to the COVID pandemic.

More from this PBS story:

The president ordered flags on federal property lowered to half staff for five days and then led the moment of communal mourning for those lost to a virus that often prevents people from gathering to remember their loved ones. Monday’s bleak threshold of 500,000 deaths was playing out against contradictory crosscurrents: an encouraging drop in coronavirus cases and worries about the spread of more contagious variants.

Addressing the “grim, heartbreaking milestone” directly and publicly, Biden stepped to a lectern in the White House Cross Hall, unhooked his face mask and delivered an emotion-filled eulogy for 500,071 Americans he said he felt he knew.

First Lady Jill Biden and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff took part in the ceremony.

Here is a 1-minute video from the event.

Tuesday, February 23, the Vice President had several public engagements. Here you see her with President Biden and Secretary of State Blinken as they participate in a virtual meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Ms. Harris also met with members of the Congressional Black Caucus, including Chairwoman Joyce Beatty, Congresswoman Nikema Williams, Rep Jahana Hayes, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, and Congressman Emanuel Cleaver II. Below, an image from the Caucus Facebook page.

The Vice President was in a suit that remains unidentified; here you see it when worn on February 4th for a visit to the State Department.

Wednesday, February 24, the Vice President was in blue separates by Altuzarra. Here you see her at an oval office meeting with the President and members of congress.

The Vice President also did the swearing-in of the new Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield. The Ambassador’s husband, Lafayette Greenfield, is seen holding the bible, and son Lafayette “Deuce” Greenfield II is shown in the grey suit.

Thursday’s public engagements started with a visit to a Giant Foods pharmacy in Washington DC. Also in this photo, Congresswoman Eleanor Norton of the District of Columbia.

Ms. Harris was there to help promote the administration’s Federal Retail Pharmacy Program for COVID-19 vaccination.

She wore her Altuzarra Fenice Jacket and Serge Trousers in black.

The Vice President also attended a White House event marking the 50 millionth vaccine administered under the new administration. Below left, you see President Biden, and on the right, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the White House coronavirus advisor.

Ms. Harris swore-in Jennifer Granholm as the new Secretary of Energy. The Secretary is seen below with her husband, Dan Mulhern.

Friday, February 26, the Vice President made diplomatic phone calls.

She wore a grey jacket we’ve not previously seen with a shoulder vent effect, a dark turtleneck, and gold earrings. Among those she spoke with: Prime Minister Frederiksen of Denmark and President Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Saturday, the 27th, the Vice President was the keynote speaker at a virtual Black History Month celebration.

The event was hosted by House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD), and it marked the 40th annual celebration.

The Vice President was in a UFO (Unidentified Fashion Object) black blazer with patch pockets and notch lapels, a previously worn Dolce and Gabbana top, and what might be her Altuzarra ‘Luther’ trousers.

In this photo, you better see the lace detail on the top.

You can watch the entire program here via the House Majority Leader’s Facebook page.

One new ID of note this week: an Olivine Gabbro ensemble. You see then-Senator Harris wearing the ensemble at a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation prayer breakfast in September 2018. On her right, Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey.
