Vice President Harris was first noted wearing Sergio Hudson’s Signature Dress ($1495) at a November 2021 30th-anniversary celebration for the National Action Network. The Vice President wore the sequinned version of this design for Inauguration festivities in January 2020.
The dress is part of the Sergio Hudson Signature Essentials collection. It is crafted from a stretch crepe made of a triacetate/polyester blend and lined with stretch silk. The pencil-style piece showcases a structured design in a midi length. It features a round neck, concealed back zipper, and hidden zippers at the sleeve.
