Today the Vice President-elect opted for a deep aubergine pantsuit for an important transition announcement.
Embed from Getty ImagesThe occasion was the President-elect’s formal introduction of several nominees for his cabinet.
Another view, this one via Jennifer Epstein from Bloomberg News.
The Vice President-elect’s pantsuit was in a color she is fond of, a rich burgundy or aubergine or merlot hue (I’m open to suggestion on the descriptor, that was the best I could come up with!).
Here you have a slightly better view of the pantsuit. The jacket features two sharply angled pocket flaps at the hip, notch lapels, a single-button front closure, slightly flared cuffs with a single button. The trousers are a straight cut.
Beneath the jacket, Ms. Harris wore a black shell or top I believe we have seen before, with a slight sheen that looks like it is made out of fabric with a satin weave. Below, one more look, this one from former White House Communications Director Jen Psaki.
This is a pantsuit I believe Ms. Harris has had for some time. Below you see her wearing it on November 4 at the Chase Center in Wilmington, when she and the President-elect gave an election status update.
Today the VPE also wore her black point-toe heels and her black pearl necklace with matching stud earrings.

Thank you, this is my first email -( I wondered why I never received any but now it seems to work.)
May I ask if to your knowledge KH has a system whereby she loggs and controls what she is wearing and when?
Also, do you know the make of the suits?
Thank you very much

Hello, Birgit, and thank you for commenting. I have not read or been told that the VPE has a system for logging wardrobe details. My guess is that that data is being recorded if only to create a more streamlined process for selecting ensembles and avoiding repetition. I do not know the make of the majority of suits worn by Ms. Harris beyond those IDed in posts, but am making progress on IDing more designers. 🙂
