Vice President-Elect in Monochromatic Ensemble for Return to Capitol Hill

Vice President-elect Kamala Harris returned to Capitol Hill today for the first time after winning the election.

Ms. Harris was there for a Senate vote.

The vice president-elect was in a black double-breasted coat and pantsuit.

The coat featured flaps pockets at the hip and peak lapels. The pantsuit included a single-breasted two-button blazer with three flap pockets (two at the right hip and one at the left), one welt pocket, peak lapels, and four buttons at the sleeve cuff. The trousers look like they were a fairly straight cut.

Beneath the jacket, Ms. Harris wore a cream blouse with cascading ruffles down the front and ruffled cuffs. Below, Senator Harris wearing what appears to be the same blouse at a Planned Parenthood engagement in a photo posted on social media January 22, 2015.

At today’s vote, Ms. Harris accessorized with her black pearl necklace and matching stud earrings, black mask, and what appear to be the same black point-toe heels worn several times in the last two weeks.
