L’Agence Chamberlain Blazer

Another brand the Vice President-elect favors is L’Agence, a California label founded by Margaret Maldonado. Below, Ms. Harris campaigning in Muscatine, Iowa, in November 2019.

She appears to wear a piece from the Fall 2019 RTW collection, the Chamberlain Blazer, offered in a variety of fabrics and colors. I struggled to decide between the Tan/Burgundy Houndstooth seen on the left and the Comey Houndstooth shown on the right. I believe she has the colorway shown on the right but had the buttons switched to the darker color seen below left.

A closer look at the fabrics and buttons.

The jacket is crafted in a poly/viscose/spandex blend with a fitted silhouette. It has strong shoulders, peaked lapels, angled flap pockets at the hip, a single-button front closure, and two buttons at the cuffs.

The jacket is no longer available in the Vice President-elect’s colorway. The tan/burgundy version ($595) is in stock at L’Agence, as well as Bloomingdale’s, Shopbop, and Nordstrom.
