Weeks in Review Oct 25 – 29 and Nov 1 – 5

Vice President Harris started the week of October 25th with a familiar look, wearing a longtime UFO suit for a meeting with national environmental and climate organization leaders.

The suit dates back many years, and we continue to search for an ID.

Thursday, October 28, the Vice President joined President Biden as he delivered remarks about the administration’s Build Back Better agenda and legislation.

Here you see the duo shortly after the President’s speech.

Ms. Harris also met virtually with mayors of several US cities on Thursday.

It looked like the Vice President was in her Dolce & Gabbana Turlington Blazer ($2595) and coordinating trousers, shown below when worn on a previous occasion.

Friday, the 29th, the Vice President took part in a Democratic National Committe event on the Build Back Better legislation. That evening she spoke at a rally for Terry McAuliffe, running to regain the Virginia Governor’s office.

The Vice President appeared to be wearing her Micro Check Print Blazer ($1437, originally $2395) and Straight Leg Houndstooth Trousers ($525, originally $875) by Dolce and Gabbana that we first noted back in January of this year.

Beneath the jacket, she had on a black turtleneck. Ms. Harris also wore her Manolo Blahnik Dildi boots, seen below when worn last winter.

Saturday, October 30, Vice President Harris received her COVID vaccination booster shot.

She was in pieces she has worn previously.

Ms. Harris wore her Yucca & Agave Stripe Wool Ribbed T-Shirt ($495, now sold out) by Akris Punto (below), and her oft-seen Fenice Jacket ($1495) and coordinating Serge Pant ($695) by Altuzarra.

Vice President Harris traveled to New York City on Monday with Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm. They received a briefing on NYC’s fleet of Zero-Emission SuperTrucks and the city’s investments in commercial electric vehicles.

Vice President Kamala Harris joined Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm in New York on Monday to announce nearly $200 million for projects to produce cleaner cars and trucks.

The pair appeared at JFK Airport to announce the commitment to fund 25 projects, including long-haul trucks powered by batteries and fuel cells and improving electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the United States.

Harris added the government will also partner with private companies to “drive innovation in electric heat pumps.”

The Vice President was in an unidentified black suit she has worn for several years and a dark green top that is also UFO (Unidentified Fashion Object).

Friday night the Vice President was in a dress by Sergio Hudson for the National Action Network’s 30th-anniversary celebration at Carnegie Hall.

The event also marked Reverend Al Sharpton’s 67th birthday; the Reverend is the founder of the National Action Network. More about the event via Rachel Pilgrim’s story for The Root.

Vice President Harris delivered the keynote address to a room that included NAN honorees, state and local officials and families representing several victims of police brutality. Outside of talking about what’s next for the Biden-Harris administration’s agenda, such as the Build Back Better Framework, Harris focused on an issue that will be looming over voting polls today: voting rights.

The Vice President was in the Signature Dress ($1295), part of the Sergio Hudson Signature Essentials collection. It is crafted from a stretch crepe made of a triacetate/polyester blend and lined with stretch silk. The pencil-style piece showcases a structured design in a midi length. It features a round neck, concealed back zipper, and hidden zippers at the sleeve.

On Wednesday, November 3, the Vice President traveled to Capitol Hill for another procedural vote on the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.

Ms. Harris wore an unidentified dark grey suit and a blouse that looks like a design by Lafayette 148 New York, the brand’s Cecile Tie-Neck Blouse ($498).

Friday, the 5th, Ms. Harris visited NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. The center is in Maryland, just a few miles north of Washington, DC.

According to a NASA news release, “the vice president met with scientists and engineers to discuss how NASA’s broad portfolio of Earth science missions helps address the climate challenges facing our world.”

She also operated a robotic arm in the Center’s Robotics Operations Center.

Vice President Harris was in separates by Altuzarra, the brand’s Kenton Jacket & what looked like the Serge Pants ($795).  Beneath the jacket, she appeared to have on her Charmeuse Reversible Perla Blouse ($328) by Lafayette 148 New York.

On Saturday, November 6, the Vice President joined the President as he delivered remarks on the passage of the administration’s infrastructure bill.

Vice President Harris was in the khaki/olive suit we first noted back in October. Below, another view from today.

The suit looks like several Dolce and Gabbana styles worn by Ms. Harris and has many of the elements seen in those designs: a jacket with peaked lapels, three flap pockets, and double back vents with a tailored straight leg trouser.

Throughout both weeks, Ms. Harris wore her Tahitian pearl necklace and stud earrings.

Monday, the 8th, Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Harris travel to Paris, France, where they will be until Saturday, the 13th. The Vice President “will pursue US efforts to strengthen a recently mended French-American relationship… she will also attend a pair of international conferences” per this CNN piece.

Weeks in Review AUG 30 – SEP 3 & SEP 6 – 11

I have combined the last two weeks into one post because Vice President Harris had few public engagements the last week of August. She wrapped up the month on August 31 with a Capitol Hill appearance where she presided over a Senate session.

I can’t tell what she was wearing from the videos; there are no photos available that I can license. It looks like the Vice President may have been wearing some of her black separates by Altuzarra, but that is just a guess.

Week in Review Aug 9 – Aug 13

Vice President Harris did not have any public engagements on Monday, August 9. Tuesday, August 10, Vice President Harris visited the Unity Health Cares Brentwood Health Center in Washington, DC.

The Vice President delivered remarks about the administration’s efforts to lower health care costs.

She also announced that more than 2.5 million people have signed up for health care during the special enrollment period.

Tuesday afternoon, she was at the Capitol to preside during the Senate’s vote on the bipartisan infrastructure bill. You can hear the Vice President announce the results in this video clip.

The Vice President then joined the President for remarks about the massive infrastructure bill.

Ms. Harris was in familiar separates by Altuzarra, her Kenton Jacket & Serge Pants. It looked like she was also wearing her Luxe Charmeuse Reversible Perla Blouse ($328) by Lafayette 148 New York.

Her accessories included her Manolo Blahnik Newcio pumps (below), double-strand pearl necklace by Irene Neuwirth, and unidentified mabé pearl earrings.

The Vice President did not have any public engagements on Wednesday, August 11. On the 12th, she hosted a meeting with business leaders to talk about child care.

Attendees included Mark Breitbard, chief executive of the Global Gap Brand; Jenna Johnson, the president of Patagonia; Josh Silverman, the chief executive of Etsy; Alison Whritenour, the chief executive of Seventh Generation; and Hami Ulukaya, the chief executive of the yogurt brand Chobani, among others.

The White House selected the executives because of their companies’ policies on child care and paid leave, a senior administration official said. In the meeting, Ms. Harris emphasized the importance of child care as both a personal and a business matter.

Vice President Harris was in a khaki suit I haven’t yet identified, and her L’Agence Cory Tee ($85), Irene Neuwirth necklace, and unidentified mabé pearl earrings.

Friday, August 13, the Vice President took part in an Instagram live session.

She spoke about voting rights with Storm Reid, an activist, producer, and actress, and Sarah Audelo, Executive Director of the Alliance for Youth Action.

The Vice President was in a blue blazer and white top, but I wasn’t able to tell if it was the Prabal Gurung blue suit or another style. (There were no photos released from the Instagram broadcast.) You can watch the conversation here.
