When questioning a witness appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee in December 2019, it looked like the Vice President-elect was wearing another Akris piece.
Then-Senator Harris appeared to be in the brand’s ‘Genaro’ Double-Breasted Wool-Blend Blazer ($1356, originally $3390). Made in a color called ‘Cherry Blossom,’ the 99% wool, 1% polyamide piece featured a slim fit with lightly padded shoulders, peak lapels, flap pockets, and six matching buttons.
The style is from the Akris Resort ’20 collection. Below left, you see the jacket worn with a matching skirt, and on the right, the wide-legged trousers that were also available. There are no full-length photos or videos of Ms. Harris that I have been able to locate, so we do not know if she wore any coordinating pieces.
