The Vice President-elect was in a basic pantsuit for today’s introduction of key members of the incoming administration’s economic team.
The event was held at the Queen theater in Wilmington, Delaware.

Embed from Getty ImagesThe jacket had a one-button closure, two flap pockets at the hip, and notch lapels. The trousers looked like a straight cut.
Ms. Harris wore black point-toe pumps, as well as her black pearl necklace and matching earrings. I don’t have an ID yet on the suit or blouse, but continue to work on finding the designer. UPDATE: The blouse looks like her Lafayette 148 New York ‘Linn’ Blouse.
The Linn is crafted from the brand’s signature ‘Finesse Crepe’ fabric, a blend of acetate and polyester. The sleeveless top features delicate shirring at the neckline and and an even hem with splits at the side seams.
I’m making a little progress in identifying styles worn by the Vice President-elect. Below (from l to r), Ms. Harris in the Lafayette 148 New York Digby Blazer; Rag and Bone’s Lexington Blazer, and a suit by Escada. More info on all of these and other suits/separates may be found on the IDs: Suits & Separates page.
Over the weekend the Vice President-elect and husband Doug Emhoff joined Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser for a visit to the District’s Downtown Holiday Market.
It was Small Business Saturday, the day dedicated to encouraging shoppers to support small local businesses. Here you see the Mayor and Ms. Harris.

If interested in the tee, it is by Bailiwick Clothing Company ($25) of Washington, DC. Below, you see it modeled by Jessica Gaddy Brown, owner of a therapy and wellness service in the District.
Ms. Harris and Mr. Emhoff seemed to thoroughly enjoy their time at the market. Here is a quick video of the duo at the market via Jasmine Wright on Twitter.
The VPE was in casual pieces, including her Prada boots, jeans, and a jacket I haven’t yet identified. It looks like it *may* be vintage Lafayette 148. The company has long made reversible wool and cashmere styles, which this resembles. These are current and past season Lafayette 148 designs. NOTE: see update below.
Other possible brands include Mackage and Soia & Kyo.
UPDATE DEC 3: It turns out the jacket is by Kinross Cashmere, from the brand’s 2016 Resort collection.
Made of a 70% wool/30% cashmere blend, the jacket is fully reversible, with a drape collar and open front. Kinross is an offshoot of Dawson Forte Cashmere; the company offers women’s apparel and some accessories. Thanks for the tip on this to Kamala’s Closet.
Below, one more photo, this one via NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell.
UPDATE JAN 13, 2021: The scarf Ms. Harris is wearing is by Hermès, the ‘Clic Clac a Pois’ design in the Maxi Twilly size, 8″ x 63″. (More info here.)
